Somocer Group, specialized in the production and marketing of ceramic tiles for wall paneling and floor covering (Earthenware and porcelain stoneware), the production of sanitary ware (cast iron bathtub) as well as in the manufacture and marketing of ceramic stoneware porcelain for floors covering and walls paneling, continues to develop its international reputation in the construction sector.
This prominent position has recently been reinforced by the QB UPEC certification obtained by Somocer and Sotemail group, the only Tunisian and African companies to have received this certification. This prestigious building quality certification is internationally recognized. Somocer and Sotemail are also the only Tunisian exhibitors present for the fourth year in a row at the renowned CERSAIE 2019 Fair.
This participation in the largest International Ceramics Exhibition for Architecture and Bathroom Furnishings, organized in the Italian city of Bologna, from 23 to 28 September 2019, aims to support Somocer Group’s policy to boost the group’s presence at the international level and help its companies to conquer new foreign markets.
Through this participation, Somocer Group aims also to highlight the new products and trends produced by its companies to meet international standards and customers’ needs like the new 60 x1m20 tile format, which stands out in terms of design, size and quality and which perfectly illustrates the Tunisian know-how in the field.
The organization of the 37th edition of this international fair will be a great networking opportunity for Somocer Group companies. It will boost their connections with their foreign partners and help them establish new contacts with some of the 900 exhibitors from around 35 countries. Somocer Group companies will also be able to increase their exports in the upcoming months to new markets such as the United Kingdom, the Scandinavian countries and the United States of America.
